Job Summary
Operate and maintain packaging and palletizer equipment in a manufacturing setting to meet production targets and uphold quality. Responsibilities include monitoring plant operations, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, documenting maintenance needs, managing CMMS/work orders, performing mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic repairs, verifying bag weight and quality (including hardness and vacuum tests), completing logs/reports for downtime and parts usage, and training new operators to ensure a safe, efficient work environment. Requires hands-on mechanical inclination, high school diploma or GED, 3+ years manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 55 lbs (100 lbs with assistance), and willingness to overtime. Base hourly pay up to $24.50-$24.75 with shift differentials; 2nd/3rd shift premiums; comprehensive benefits and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three or more years manufacturing/process experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Hands-on work willingness and mechanical inclination
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently; up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility for overtime and shift hours required
