Job Summary
Lead the packaging/filling rooms and coordinate activities of workers engaged in filling and packaging products. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating personnel in following policies and procedures. Evaluate and improve work processes, resolve problem areas, and ensure product quality through SOP adherence and staff training. Assist in staffing production areas, review batch record entries, and calculate yield for finished goods. Keep the production process flowing smoothly while conforming to all cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures. Requires weekend shift attendance with on-call availability for critical issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing facility
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
- Basic math skills
- Consistent and punctual attendance
- Proficient in using standard computer software and hardware
- Must be quality driven with good attention to detail but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to respond to critical shift issues outside of scheduled hours on an as-needed basis
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs
