Job Summary
Lead and motivate packaging staff to ensure consumer-packaged goods are packed correctly per cGMPs and ready for shipment. Monitor daily productivity on bottling lines, train employees on job-specific functions, and verify kitted jobs and components. Implement process improvements for safety, quality, and delivery times while auditing GDP errors in logs and batch records daily. Set up and adjust all packaging equipment, including counters, cappers, and labelers, throughout production runs. Inspect containers and materials to meet specifications, maintain sanitary work areas, and report safety or quality issues to management.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to perform basic math
- Flexibility to changing priorities, work schedule, and the needs of the business
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to follow instructions and must possess leadership
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work well under pressure
