Job Summary
Execute packaging and labeling activities for pharmaceutical products, including manual or automated filling, blistered and bottled assembly, and accurate counting of components. Maintain quality and productivity standards by ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations. Clean packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with cGMPs while wearing required personal protective equipment. Work the first shift from Tuesday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in a cold room environment at -22°F.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to learn new tasks with guidance and work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read and understand batch documentation to ensure proper assembly of clinical supplies
- Capability to meet physical job requirements, including standing, lifting, and bending
- Must meet vision requirements (e.g., color vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment)
- Willingness to work in cold environments (-8°C and -20°C)
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed
- Required to obtain and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certification, including use of respirators and safety gear
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
- First shift schedule (Monday–Thursday)
- Standard 40-hour workweek
- Fully onsite position based in Mount Prospect, Illinois
