Packaging Inventory Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily packaging operations, coordinate production plans with the Plant Manager, and manage Leads & Support staff to meet quotas and quality standards. Direct workflow efficiency by assigning tasks, training employees, and ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and safety protocols. Maintain accurate inventory documentation in internal systems and METRC, conducting physical audits and managing outbound shipments with sales representatives. Ensure all batches meet QA/QC requirements, verify labels and batch numbers, and submit required compliance reports. Work a flexible schedule to support production goals and sales fulfillment across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of directly related experience and/or training in packaging and inventory, analyst or logistics role or environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry
- Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written
- Possess basic mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Occasional travel required between buildings and sites
- Ability to maintain/manage confidential information
- State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Will be required to submit to a background check
- Must obtain all applicable state-required permits, licenses, and certifications
Desired Qualifications
- At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- experience in Jira and/or other management platforms and software preferred
- ServSafe or Food Handler's Card preferred
