Job Summary
Fill, label, and package industrial refinishing products while completing job sheets and production documentation to ensure traceability. Attach identification labels, sort, grade, and inspect finished goods to verify compliance with quality specifications. Set up, operate, clean, and tear down packaging equipment, monitoring performance and clearing minor jams or reporting mechanical issues. Operate powered pallet jacks for material handling and maintain a clean, safe work environment through regular housekeeping. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including reporting hazards and incidents. High school diploma required with ability to lift materials and read operating instructions. Immediate start available for this active opening at Axalta's Orville, OH facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and work orders
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work safely in a production setting and comply with all safety requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, filling, packaging, or production environment
- Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and continuous improvement practices
- Experience operating packaging or production equipment
- Powered pallet jack experience
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and documentation requirements
