Job Summary
Packaging Engineer to lead packaging design and development, support sourcing and procurement efforts, and manage packaging testing protocols (ISTA, ASTM) for a private-label CPG foods producer. Onsite role based in City of Industry, CA, responsible for driving packaging elements from concept through qualification and production, collaborating with sourcing and QA, and applying standards in ISTA/ASTM testing.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a packaging engineering-focused role
- Experience designing flexible and rigid packaging elements
- Experience with testing protocols (ISTA, ASTM, similar)
- Experience in the food/beverage industry is a big plus
- Degree in Packaging Engineering, or similar
