Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in packaging development or engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for package design and analysis
- Demonstrated understanding of various packaging materials (e.g., plastics, paperboard, corrugated) and their applications
- Experience with packaging line machinery, automation, and optimizing packaging processes for efficiency and cost
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and quality control principles related to packaging
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software for packaging design
- ISTA certification or experience with packaging performance testing
- Knowledge of sustainable packaging materials and practices (e.g., recyclability, compostability, reduced waste)
- Familiarity with automation and robotics in packaging processes
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or demonstrated experience leading complex packaging initiatives
