Job Summary
Packaging Engineer to support development and commercialization of new, improved packaging and to back base business and high-complexity projects. Will participate in plant trials, present results, interpret and issue technical specifications, collaborate on cross-functional teams, and gain familiarity with budget and strategic plans. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering, or related field and about 1 year of packaging/engineering experience (CPG preferred). Travel up to 20-40% of time. Locations include Omaha, NE and Chicago, IL. Compensation based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering, or related field
- 1 year work experience in packaging or engineering industry or internship (CPG preferred)
- Experience with packaging materials, capabilities and equipment
- Knowledge of test methodology
- Analytical and logic abilities
- Ability to travel up to 20-40% of time as a responsible company representative
