Job Summary
Conduct technical and scientific tests to validate cold chain packaging systems and qualify designs for new product launches. Coordinate testing with external and internal labs while managing planning and execution of lab-based assessments. Oversee equipment calibration, maintain lab standards, and modify packaging components to meet functional and cost targets. Complete test reports for procurement and cross-functional teams, synthesizing insights into material comparisons and R&D strategies. Collaborate with vendors to manage specifications and expand the supply chain for top-line box growth.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in packaging engineering/science
- Undergraduate degree in Packaging Science, Engineering, or other relevant area of study
- Proven technical expertise in packaging materials testing, most notably in ISTA-certified testing methodologies, gained through industry experience
