Job Summary
Design, build, and assemble packaging samples using SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, and AutoCAD while maintaining the lab equipment and operating tools like the Kongsberg cutting table and compression tester. Support Sales Engineers with quotes, drawings, and TOPS illustrations for customer presentations, and collaborate with Marketing to integrate graphics into packaging concepts. Participate in trade shows and conferences as required to foster cross-functional teamwork and drive new business opportunities. This fully onsite role involves 60% desk work, 30% assembly floor exposure, and 10% travel. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering, packaging, business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings
- Proficiency with SolidWorks
- Proficiency with ArtiosCAD
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Proficiency with Google SketchUp
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer-based work
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and support hands-on lab activities
- Ability to lift 10–40 lbs occasionally
- Fully onsite position
- 60% office-based work at a computer or desk
- 10% travel to customer or vendor locations
- 30% work on the assembly floor with exposure to production tools, noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures
