Job Summary
Temporary Packaging Designer responsible for designing packaging for barware, glassware, drinkware, and consumables across multiple brands. Tasks include manipulating dielines, creating production-ready print files with correct bleeds and color specs, applying brand guidelines, building physical mockups and digital renderings, and preparing final artwork for domestic and overseas manufacturing partners. Collaborates with product development and marketing, maintains consistency across packaging families, and adapts designs for new launches and seasonal programs. Requires strong knowledge of packaging structures, print processes, file setup, and production requirements; experience with protective packaging for glassware; proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; ability to prepare print-ready files; capability to create digital mockups and presentation assets; solid typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills; and meticulous attention to detail and file organization. Compensation: $30.00 - 40.00 per hour DOE.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of packaging structures, print processes, file setup, and production requirements.
- Experience designing protective packaging for fragile products such as glassware.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
- Strong ability to prepare accurate print-ready files for packaging production.
- Skilled in creating digital mockups and presentation-ready visual assets.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and file organization.
