PACKAGING ASSOCIATE

Train production workers to perform required duties, run equipment, and follow KCBA Core Procedures while assisting and covering for the Packaging Operator. Maintain GMPs, package cases and bags per schedule, and ensure products are packed in a clean environment with correct weights and legible lot numbers. Review daily production requirements with the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager, refer to set-up sheets, and verify packaging materials like film, boxes, and pallets are in acceptable condition. Coordinate with the Warehouse Lead on daily material needs and document finished goods shipments. Maintain all required documents including pre-op checklists, pack sheets, and metal detector logs.
