Job Summary
Review completed units for weight and visual defects, apply all necessary labels, and count finished flower into predetermined case pack sizes. Assist the Packaging Machine Operator with bagging machine tasks, troubleshooting issues, and pre-opening machine bags while maintaining supply. Perform scale calibration and assist with day-to-day machine cleaning. Operate power-operated tools and adjust machinery, ensuring extreme accuracy while working around high-speed equipment. Carry loads up to 50lbs and lift 10lbs overhead, navigating shifts involving sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. Work in an on-site environment with strong odors, bright lights, and various noises.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Pass a Federal and State criminal history background check
- At least a high school diploma/GED
- Five years of packaging and/or production experience
- Willing and able to sit, walk, bend, and reach throughout the entire shift
- Willing and able to stand the entire day or sit the entire day as needs change
- Ability to carry loads of up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be able to lift 10lbs overhead
- Comfortable working around high-speed machinery
- Must be comfortable working with their hands and must be extremely accurate
- Willing and able to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with plants
