Packaging Associate

Package finished door units including slabs, pre-hung doors, and assembled systems by applying protective materials and ensuring standards for damage prevention. Verify orders prior to packaging and shipment by confirming correct product, quantity, and configuration, then match work orders to physical product. Inspect doors for visible damage or defects and maintain quality standards while supporting production throughput and meeting daily and hourly targets. Label, stack, and stage materials properly in a clean, organized workspace following PPE and 6S standards. Communicate issues immediately and work cooperatively with team members. This physically active role requires standing for 8+ hours and lifting 45–75 lbs regularly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must use packaging tools like tape machines and banding material, read work orders, and possess basic math skills.
