Job Summary
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to stock, pick, and transport pallets of raw/finished products; load/unload trucks and transfer products; utilize computerized systems (including RF to maintain records); pack and weigh boxes, prepare shipping documentation; restack pallets and assist with inventory, batch records, and quality checks; communicate with leads and supervisors on schedules and priorities to ensure smooth flow of materials in line with production schedules; perform related clerical duties and ensure compliance with safety rules.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Forklift certification
- 1-3 years warehousing experience
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 5-600 pounds with powered equipment
- Ability to operate forklift safely
- Basic arithmetic and data-entry skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
