Job Summary
Senior Packaging Account Executive in Dallas, TX responsible for generating new business and meeting sales goals within the assigned sales territory for a corrugated packaging manufacturer. Responsibilities include determining product specifications, quotes, and pricing; preparing weekly/monthly activity reports; building and maintaining prospect lists and customer relationships; visiting customers to assess needs and promote additional products and services; answering questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability; performing packaging audits; and collaborating with the Design Team to create value-added packaging solutions in a timely manner. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of packaging/manufacturing sales experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport with customers and suppliers, independent and team-oriented work style, problem-solving aptitude, and a commitment to excellent customer service and industry knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in sales/marketing
- Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience (corrugated packaging/manufacturing industry preferred)
- Must live in, or within a reasonable distance of the geographical sales territory assigned
