Job Summary
Packager performs packaging duties including checking for correct packaging boxes/containers, verifying product date and weight within guidelines, sealing packages, inspecting containers/products to meet specifications, removing defective items from the production line, assembling product containers on an assembly line, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working with people, items, and equipment. English/Spanish bilingual a plus; environment is a refrigerated food manufacturing plant with potential overtime and weekend scheduling.
