Job Summary
The Production Packager I operates on a production line to package organic and non-organic coffee, using weigh-and-fill machines, labeling, and measuring precise product amounts to meet orders while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include packaging tasks (box assembly, packing, taping), monitoring for quality issues, reporting machinery problems to the Production Supervisor, sustaining a clean and safe workspace, participating in on-the-job training for warehouse/manufacturing processes, and supporting the team to meet quotas. Requires ability to work 10-hour shifts, lift up to 60 lbs, and use basic math and computer skills; emphasizes a positive attitude, reliability, flexibility for overtime, and collaboration with the production team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. frequently
- Able to work 10-hour shifts while standing and physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
- Perform repetitive tasks consistently
- Basic math, reading and writing skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Excel and Word
