Job Summary
Setup and operate banding equipment, turnstiles, down layer, and banding lines to package materials per customer specifications. Prepare skids, load, transport, and unload materials using forklifts and cranes while ensuring proper identification and segregation. Safely handle materials, maintain production standards, and clean assigned packaging areas. Requires Forklift Certification, Crane Training, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally. Shift runs 9P to 7A on a 4-day week.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use tape measure, micrometers, and calipers
- Ability to comply with safety rules and requirements
- Pass necessary Forklift Certification and/or Crane Training
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
