Job Summary
Setup and operate banding equipment, turnstiles, down layers, and cranes to package materials and prepare them for shipment. Prepare skids to customer specifications while ensuring proper identification and segregation of finished goods. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load, transport, unload, and stack materials within assigned areas. Safely handle materials up to 75 pounds and maintain production standards by cleaning assigned areas. Pass necessary forklift certification and crane training to begin work.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use tape measure, micrometers, and calipers
- Ability to comply with safety rules and requirements
- Pass necessary Forklift Certification and/or Crane Training
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
