Job Summary
Operate bagging equipment in the Decorah Operations team, creating customer-specific bag labels and managing material handling flows. Prioritize activities to maximize efficiency while recognizing unsafe conditions or maintenance problems and reporting them immediately. Assist the Maintenance department with repairs, complete paperwork timely, and adjust inventory on the manufacturing system as needed. Work the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) M–F with availability for overtime, maintaining a neat work area and adhering to all safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Human relations skills
- Self-motivated
- Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must be available to work overtime
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of personal computer operation
- Basic knowledge of fasteners
