Package X-Ray Operator (CDC Roybal Campus)

Job Summary
Interpret x-ray images for suspicious or abnormal items and verify CDC acquisition documents for incoming shipments. Examine packages, reject damaged goods, and notify the Material Coordinator of discrepancies. Report security concerns immediately and mark packages with delivery designations. Identify and barcode accountable property within one day, scan items before truck loading and at final destination, and physically inventory equipment upon arrival. Utilize forklift or powered hand trucks to load, unload, and move materials to designated areas, separating excess property by condition and arranging surplus in sequential lots. Pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment while maintaining machines and correcting safety hazards. Maintain daily safety logs for equipment and possess a forklift license. Requires two years of CDC warehouse experience, one year of forklift operation, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years' experience CDC warehouse receiving and package identification
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience in operating a forklift
- Must possess or be able to obtain a forklift License
- Must have excellent organizational, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of OSHA Regulations
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- The ability to push, pull, lift, up to 50lbs. with or without accommodations
