Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, transporting items, and staging orders for drivers. Scan and sort orders into delivery bags and vans using smartphones and handheld devices. Build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages while operating carts, dollies, and hand trucks. Work in climate-controlled facilities with temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 90°F, navigating moving vehicles and varying noise levels. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching while lifting up to 49 pounds. Go up and down stairs where applicable, wearing closed-toe shoes and protective safety footwear in select areas.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
