Job Summary
Monitor conveyor and select packages for assigned DDUs, then physically move items to the packing area. Ascertain that picked and labeled items are properly packed in crates or cartons per protocol, and accurately scan packages to pallets or Gaylords before placing them on delivery vehicles. Report any damages to packages to the supervisor and place miss-sorted or unscannable items in the designated bin. If assigned, use the scanner to audit completed pallets or Gaylords and rebuild them if necessary. Take instructions from the supervisor while maintaining safety during transport and loading. This role supports main sortation, mail sortation, and audit processes in a fluid evening-to-early morning operation at Naniq, a third-party logistics provider for multinational corporations.
Required Qualifications
- Able to multi-task and work effectively under a minimum level of supervision in a fast-paced environment
- strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate a consistent capability of working cooperatively with others in a team environment
- Able to be on time and consistently present at work
- Able to work independently and lift up to 75lbs
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be friendly and helpful with a professional disposition
- Must have the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Must meet physical lifting requirements of 75 lbs
