Job Summary
Analyze previous day's production reports and weekly trends to incorporate improvements into future dispatch plans. Manage the center's dispatch systems and processes by reviewing data on stop and volume trends to identify patterns and create plans that maximize results. Record route modifications and oversee load adjustments to improve service and reduce costs. Directly supervise part-time dispatch supervisors by determining training needs, conducting performance evaluations, and resolving individual and group performance issues. Promote the implementation of new technology and monitor dispatch planning system functionality to improve overall operations.
