Job Summary
Package Designer II responsible for supporting the development and launch of new package designs and enhancements, creating 3D renderings and visual presentations, coordinating with customers and vendors, prototyping in the Design Lab, and contributing to billable Design Services. The role requires hands-on packaging development expertise across primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, knowledge of thermoforming and blister technologies, experience with CAD platforms, and the ability to mentor Jr. Designers and interns while supporting ESG initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2+ years related industry experience
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks & Artios-CAD)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in development of drug delivery packaging
- Experience with thermoforming design/manufacturing
- Experience with unit dose blister design/manufacturing
- Experience with folding carton and wallet card design/manufacturing/printing
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior designers
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
