Job Summary
Bring packaging to Work Centers and Assembly Areas prior to startup, then move finished parts from molding to the Pack & Scan area for banding and warehouse disposition. Ensure proper labeling and scanning of incoming parts before delivery. Operate a forklift to move items to proper building locations, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow safety policies, assist with setup, and review operations for continuous cost improvement using Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles. Interact with counterparts to ensure efficient use of people during manufacturing. Requires 2 years of manufacturing experience, forklift operation, and inventory scanning skills. Schedule is Shift D with rotating hours.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing environment
- operating a forklift

- A self-starter with a history of showing initiative in getting things done and anticipating what needs to get done
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven communicational skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrated ability to push, pull, lift, and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to be trained to operate a fork lift
- Demonstrated experience with production part retrieval/lot number verification
- Experience with cycle counts/inventory
- History of accurately documenting (or scanning) WIP and Finished goods in/out of inventory
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
- Proven ability to work with others to accomplish goals
- Knowledge of basic mathematics and the ability to apply it in a work situation
