Job Summary
Pack and ship Associate under Shipping Department Lead; responsible for pulling, packaging, staging, loading, and shipping orders to meet customer specifications and deadlines. Tasks include locating and moving products, inspecting parts for damage/defects, securing products onto crates/pallets/boxes, building custom crates/boxes, labeling deliveries, entering packing/shipping data, understanding hazmat shipping regulations, assisting with LTL, FedEx, and UPS shipments, staging/loading trucks, maintaining a clean/organized work area, and identifying opportunities to improve quality, cost, safety, delivery, and morale. Must have a valid driver’s license, forklift and crane experience, able to lift 70lbs, and work outdoors in the elements; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating forklift and crane
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift at least 70lbs and carry it for 20ft on occasion
