PACE Quality Analyst I

Job Summary

Collect, track, and monitor real-time data for CMS and state reporting while analyzing SD PACE QAPI data to identify improvement opportunities. Coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings, conduct care plan audits, and facilitate participant care transitions to ensure compliance with federal and accreditation standards. Prepare routine and special reports, draft grievance letters, and lead quality improvement projects using PDSA processes. Assist leadership in service recovery, train staff on QAPI initiatives, and serve as a liaison between program disciplines and community providers. Maintain accurate electronic records and support CMS quarterly calls and audits.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in a health-related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience can substitute for education
  • 1-3 years of experience working in quality or compliance in healthcare
  • familiarity with quality improvement processes
  • Experience as a PACE IDT member
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • specific ability to maintain accurate records
  • active listening ability
  • knowledge of adult learning modes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
  • Advanced computer skills to learn specific applications
  • Meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific position description established by San Diego PACE and approved by CMS
  • Must be able to provide written and verbal communication with all staff, caregivers, participants, and the community at large
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized with excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrate integrity, discretion and practice objective problem solving
  • Must maintain current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
  • Must be able to provide written and verbal communication with all staff, caregivers, participants, and the community at large
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized with excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrate integrity, discretion and practice objective problem solving
  • Must maintain current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Tuberculosis (TB) clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in an analytical capacity, which includes the collection, organization, and reporting of data
  • CPHQ certification
  • CHC or CHPC certification
