Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on campus to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule transitioning to a Placed Houseparent.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
