Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) living on-campus to care for 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential progression to a placed houseparent living in the same student home. Compensation is per-person salary with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; requires both spouses to apply and be at least 27 years old with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to lead and model positive conduct for students in a smoke-free, weapon-free campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model duties for students
