Job Summary
Two-person, married couple will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on campus to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and transitions to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group. Relocation and paid training are provided along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
