Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School campus provide daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation, and engagement for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising routines, planning and engaging in developmental activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off schedules to a placed-houseparent arrangement with the same student group. The role requires a legally married couple for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27+, and a willingness to uphold a smoke-free, weapon-free campus and animal restrictions, while requiring a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person married couple role
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
