Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent position at Milton Hershey School located in Mount Carroll, IL. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
