Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a family-like, structured environment. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and transitions to a placed houseparent position living and working with the same group of students. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the expectation that both spouses are legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old. The position offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and on-campus housing and meals. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for legally married couples

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Ready to live and work with the same group of students in a student home
- Willingness to undergo required driver certification for student vans
