Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: married couples reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
