Job Summary
PA Specialist role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for ~8–13 students, manage routines, medications, transportation to activities, and lead devotions/Chapel. Start with a nine-on, three-off cycle, later transitioning to a placed houseparent in a dedicated student home. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and a substantial total compensation per couple. Requires two spouses working together, with both completing separate applications.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model for students
