Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent positions reside in on-campus student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from rotating nine-days-on/three-days-off schedules to placed houseparent roles. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to obtain certification to drive student vans, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment for both spouses (married at least two years, both 27+) to apply individually for this two-person role. Benefits include salary per person around $44,768 (approx. $168k total per couple, plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance). Relocation assistance and paid training provided; on-campus housing and meals on duty are included.” ,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to two-person, married-couple role for at least two years
- Both spouses must be 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
