Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role for married couples at Milton Hershey School. The couple resides in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, including daily supervision, medications administration, driving to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting, and household reporting. Initially, nine days on / three days off, with progression to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, and paid time off. Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration; required to be legally married for at least two years, ages 27+, and meet other campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse collaboration
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort with daily devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Two-year marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Relocation assistance provided
