Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married-couple role) live on-campus in student homes to provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental activities, leading daily devotions and weekly chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential progression to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Benefits include salary per person and comprehensive insurance, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-year married (two spouses)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with youth preferred
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Regional relocations possible within program
