Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of about 813 students; duties include supervising and mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initially a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple homes before transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students; includes budgeting and reporting responsibilities, with relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for legally married couples
- Spouses must be age 27 or older
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Couples living on campus with up to three dependent children in the student home
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
