Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married-couple role) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise ~8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The position follows a nine-days-on / three-days-off cycle, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Requires high school diploma or GED, a legally married two-year minimum, both spouses aged 27+, valid driver’s license and eventual certification to drive student vans, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model expectations
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
