Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and adapting to a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; the role is a two-person, married-couple positions with relocation assistance and paid training. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
