Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to the Placed Houseparent role. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; couples are required to complete individual applications for consideration. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include comprehensive insurance and retirement options. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-spouse, married-for-at-least-two-years commitment.
