Job Summary
Two-person married-couple Houseparents reside on Milton Hershey School campus in Stapleton, GA to supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and manage household routines and budgeting. They follow a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with potential transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same student home; includes benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and on-duty meals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Willingness to lead daily devotions and accompany students to chapel
- Comfort with a campus environment and on-campus housing
