Job Summary
Two-person married couple to work as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, evolving into a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires both spouses to complete individual applications for consideration and to meet age and licensing requirements; high school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfort with Judeo-Christian chapel services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
