Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, a two-person married couple role providing care, supervision, and guidance for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from initial nine-days-on, three-days-off duty to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. Qualifications include youth-related experience, high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license; multiple campus policies on safety and conduct; the role requires a two-spouse team who are legally married for at least two years and both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Two-person team requirement for married couple
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proselytizing restrictions (no proselytizing)
