Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a two-person, married-couple role located on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in an on-site student home and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from flexible to placed houseparent roles. The position offers relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year married requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
