Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA to supervise 8–13 students in on-campus homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support; duties include supervising and mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting; schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same students; benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage requirement for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
